Two Man Scramble

Pattana A and C loops today for our two person scramble and apart from a few wet spots on the fairways on the C loop the course was in excellent condition and being so easy to get there nowadays it is a wonder it is not packed out. The weather was great and the wind made the course a little difficult in place’s, it is amazing the trick shots some golfers will resort to to keep the wind out of play, one team even tried a couple of skip shots over the water on the par three 8th to no avail as they finally got to the green in 5 and took an 8 on the hole which took them out of the game and got them the NAGA award. The team of Skip Jefferies and Auke Engekles took second place with a net 72, the team mate of Steve Milne and his crippled mate Greig Ritchie took the top spot with a net 70. Next Friday we will be playing a rainbow event at a venue to be advised.
