Tough day at the office

It must be said that the Phoenix Gold Golf course would be one of the best in the Pattaya region, but the rough needs to be addressed as it is bordering on ridiculous, if you can find the ball anywhere off the fairway you are doing really good it is so thick that it is slowing down the game with golfers trying to find balls. Whilst it is okay to be punished by an errant shot you should not be crucified. Now my rant is over the scoring for those that can hit the ball straight there was only one player that hit better than par. Everything about the course was great in every other way. We were lucky to get in before the rain that was threatening but didn’t eventuate, but it was hot. Taking 3rd spot today was Dave Bramley with 35 points, 2nd spot went to Paul Greenaway with a handicap score of 36 points off his 12 H/C 1st place went to Glyn Elsworth with a fine 38 points. There were two 2s coming from Alan Beck and Glyn Davies.
