Stormy day at Phoenix

Phoenix on the day after the European Thailand ladies open, playing from the same tee’s as the ladies big things were expected of the field, if some lovely little Thailand Teenager can score 22 under the card why can’t we. It was another story from the Billabong lot though as there was only one score below handicap and the rest were also ran’s. It started out just overcast but that soon changed and an hour or so in the drink stop for thunder and lightening and a few beers of course made for a bit of a long round but it turned out ok in the end. George Barrie took third spot with 30 points, A.J. Beasley took second with 32 and the only lady player took first place with a fine 39 points. There were no twos recorded.
