Pleasant Valley

A pleasant change today four groups played Pleasant Valley and 2 groups played Green Valley, It was a beautiful day with a very nice breeze blowing and the course was in excellent condition and apart from defining the hazards properly it was well worth the visit. The 800 baht saving was also a big factor as well. The consensus of opinion was we will return sooner rather than later. The club rooms at Pleasant Valley were fantastic in fact there was absolutely nothing you could critisize. Now down to the scoring which was very good with the lower handicap players scoring the best Peter Rook took 3rd place with 38 points off his 10 handicap being beaten by Brad Jordison also off a 10 handicap scoring 38 also with a slightly better back nine. 1st place went to Jeff North playing off a 9 handicap scoring 39 points. There were 5 twos coming from Brad Jordison, Alan Cassin, Thiery Petrement and Peter Rook got 2. It must be said that the par threes at Pleasant Valley are almost all uniquely different with two of them being island greens and the other two just challenging.
