Phoenix was very busy today with visitors from Taipei every nine had groups waiting to tee off, a sign of the times I suppose, the courses are getting busier all the time. We played Ocean and Mountain from the white tee’s and had only two ladies playing with us today. The course as usual was in spectacular condition with thankfully greens a slower the normal they are usually like lightening but were a pleasure to putt on today. With 7 groups playing we were a little late teeing off as the booking was for 5 groups but the marshall doing his job to the letter accommodated us extremely well a big thanks to the young man. Also we had a young English lad playing with us who plays off plus 3 handicap, Aaron he shot 70 off the bat and being his first time at Phoenix it was a great effort. The prize’s went down to 4th and that spot was taken by Paul Greenaway with 35 points, Miss Phin took 3rd with 36 points, 2nd went to Bob Scott with 37 points but the lady of the moment Miss Sasicha took the top spot with a great 42 points. There were only 3 twos coming from Justin Melshuall, Miss Phin and Sandy Chapo.
