Phoenix scramble

Phoenix for the monthly scramble, with 12 groups playing everything went like clockwork, this day is great as there is no organizing to do the guys just line up and tee off when ready, it makes the day very easy for the Capt. The course is in fantastic condition and is impossible to get a bad lie anywhere. It is always good to see the stalwarts of this day every month come to challenge for the prize, it was one of those days for the Valley Hackers ( Ed, Don, Doug and Ted ) taking 3rd spot with a net score of 58.9, 2nd spot went to the Billabong team Capt Bob, Gary Ritchie, Colonel Bob Pearce and Paul Greenaway with a net score of 58.4, and it was great to see Willie Mercer, Alistair Aitken, Paul Montgomery and Tony Stevens take the top spot with a net score of 56.7 and Willie told me they left a few birdies out there all the same a great score fella’s.
