Phoenix on a pleasant day

A nice day at Phoenix and nobody around, the starter said go when you are ready so off we went. We played Mountain and Lake and as usual the Mountain won, that must be one of the hardest nine holes in his area a real challenge for any golfer, the rough is real rough and the greens were just a little slower than they normally are just to make things a bit more of a challenge. With Songkran doing it’s best to take players away from the madness of Pattaya the number of golfers is down a little but 4 groups played anyway. Oddly enough there were no two’s today so the prize’s went down to 4th place taken on a count back by Chris Dodd, he was beaten by Greig Ritchie the lastest rising star playing off his 31 handicap to take the better back nine and 3rd place, 2nd went to Stan Rees with 36 points, he was beaten by Glyn Davies also with 36 points and 10 Heinekens to take a one shot better score on the back nine to win the day.
