Phoenix Gold and it was.

After finishing the best breakfast on the dark side, the lads from the Billabong golf club proceeded to Phoenix Gold golf course for a nice leisurely round of golf in perfect conditions, the day was not too hot and playing the Ocean last you get a lovely breeze all around that particular 9 holes. There were some not very friendly pin placements on both the Lake and Ocean which showed in the scoring. Both courses were in great condition but the greens were slower than normal and as previously stated some of the pins were impossible to get at. It’s not very often you get a 6 way count back but we had one today with all 6 of them on 33 points, Gerard Lambert took third spot having 18 points on the back nine, Glenn Smith having 19 on the back nine took second and Bill Marsden with 21 on the back took first place. There were no twos recorded.
