Phoenix Gold

Phoenix Gold today playing Mountain and Ocean we were surprised when we got to the Ocean loop as a storm had passed through and uprooted tree’s all over the course, it must have been a strong wind as they were mature tree’s that were blown over. A pleasant day out for all today not too hot and a nice breeze blowing to keep us cool. I don’t think I have seen scoring like this for a long time only one golfer out of the four groups playing didn’t score over 30 points, it must have been the condition the course was in for that to happen. There was a count back for the 3rd place between Jason Higgens and Captain Cripple with Jason edging the Captain out both scoring 38 points, 2nd place went to Gerard Lambert with a score of 41 points and Barry Lewis had his day in the sun scoring a mind blowing 44 points to take the top spot, There three two’s coming from Steve Barker and Barry Lewis got the other two.
