Phoenix Gold
Phoenix Gold and in beautiful condition although some of the score’s don’t show that. Just having a look at the Lake’s loop it won’t be long until that open’s to the chagrin of some but the pleasure of other’s. Hopefully this covid 19 disease will become an endemic soon and we can all get on with living our life as we want. With four groups playing today it turned out to be a very fast game for some reason nobody was in a hurry but we were finished in about 3 and a half hours. The greens were very quick with the scribe actually having a four putt on one hole and I was not the only one to do so. There was a three way count back all scoring 34 points for third place between Brian Jacks, Glyn Davies and John Seton with John prevailing scoring 21 points on the back nine, second place went to Alan Bishop with 35 points, the blob on the last hole cost him the top place as he would have beaten his playing partner Craig Wildman on a count back but Craig managed to take first with 36 points. There was only one two coming from Rob Kelly.
