Phoenix Gold

Phoenix Gold on a hot day but no rain until after we had all finished, the course is in fantastic condition with the greens staff preparing it for the ladies professional tournament being played later this week so there were a lot of ladies out there getting in some practice. With three groups playing the thinking was could be a slow day out but that didn’t happen, just a leisurely stroll it turned out to be and we were all in well under four hours. The scoring was quite good apart from one young gentleman who took the place apart, Brian Jacks took 3rd place with 34 points, Iain Jordon took 2nd place with his best score to date 38 points, but Malcolm Adamson took 1st place with a fantastic 43 points, a great round indeed as the tee’s were well back and the course was playing long. There were two 2s coming from Iain Jordon and Malcolm Adamson.
