Phoenix Gold.
Phoenix Gold course today in great conditions for golf, no rain not too hot and a course in fantastic condition. With 5 groups playing we got away a little early for an unimpeded round of golf. The scoring was surprisingly low really with the way the course was set up it shouldn’t have played this hard. There was a four way count back for the minor placing’s with Michael just missing out, Brian Jacks took 4th place with 34 points, Iain Turton took 3rd place also with 34 points both having 18 on the back nine but the blob on 18th for Brian cooked his goose, Captain Cripple also had 34 points with a miserable 12 points on the front nine but 22 on the back got him over the line, it goes to show a blind squirrel will fine a nut one day. Stuart Day took the top spot with a fine 35 points. There were two 2s coming from Brian Jacks and John Seton.
