Phoenix Gold
Phoenix Gold for our Monday outing, the course was once again in great condition although a few of the greens were a bit hairy but still ok to putt on. The weather was hot but after the storm the night before the course was relatively dry, we did play clean and place as the starter said it could be quite wet. The scoring was quite good with two 37s taking the placing’s today Barry Lewis took second with 18 points on the back nine and Wayne Cotterell took first spot courtesy of his 22 points on the back nine. John Seton got the only two of the day but managed to misplace his card, mind you it did turn up later in the day.
