Phoenix Gold

Mountain and Ocean today at Phoenix Gold golf resort, the weather was perfect with no rain or even looking like it, we played winter rules but even that wasn’t necessary as the amount of mud on the ball in most cases wasn’t even visible. The course was in great condition as usual with fast greens but rough rough. Tim Knight tried out his new eyes and found he could see the ball even when it was in the air. We had some visitors playing with us today namely Brian Jacks, John Dizzy, Stuart Day and Terry O’Connor all members of Phoenix and two of them gave us a lesson in golf, Brian took 3rd spot with 34 points, Stuart took 2nd with 36 points and Jim Glossop took the top spot with 37 points. There were no twos recorded.
