Phoenix Gold

With three groups playing at Phoenix Gold golf club on a day that turned out a little hot but with no rain in sight until we were travelling back to the bar then down it came. Playing Mountain and Ocean we got away a little earlier than our tee time and just breezed around with no hold ups at all. The course was in magnificent condition and there could be no complaints about anything and just to show how good the course was there was only 2 players out of 12 that didn’t score better than 30 points. There was a count back between Captain Cripple and Thiery Temime with Thiery pushing the Captain into 3rd place whilst he took 2nd both scoring 37 points, Kiwi Bill Marsden took the top spot with 39 points his best score in a long time and he got a two from a bunker shot to cap his day out. The other two’s coming from Steve Plant, Gerard Lambert and Thiery Petrement.
