Pattaya Country Club.

Pattaya Country club for a change and it must be said this course has improved in leaps and bounds, no longer are the fairways rock solid and hard to hit a ball off, and whilst you do get some run there is grass under every ball. The club room facilities are as good as it gets anywhere. It was a hot day out and some of our visitors were feeling the pinch when you arrive from 3 degree’s and get here 6 and half hours later to 30 degree’s plus and venture to a golf course must be a tad hard on the body. The scoring was ordinary to say the least with only 5 golfers out of 4 groups making 30 points or better, says something about the course I think. Coming 3rd place was Tim Knight with 32 points, second went to Steve Erdeley with 33 points but the little French General did it again scoring a grand 39 points and getting a two along with Tim Knight. On Sunday the 28th July we have the fabulous Bangkok Beatles coming to the Billabong all welcome to hear and sing along with this group of singers. If you haven’t heard them sing you will be missing out on a great night out. Live from 8.30 pm.

Phoenix Gold today, the course was in great condition as usual and quite busy with a steady flow of golfers all around the course. With four groups playing it was quite a fast round with no holdups at
