Parachat for the first time

The Billabong monthly scramble was held at Parachat and the comments were some complimentary and some not so but the consensus of opinion was it was a great course for a scramble but not many said they would race back to play a medal event, in saying that the course is still having a lot of work done so it will get better as time goes by. The scoring as predicted was good but not spectacular, and there was only 3 shots separating the eight groups that played from 1st to last place. The Courtyard Cavaliers, Geoff Couch, Arch Armstrong, Jeff North and Tony Oakes took 3rd prize with a score of 61.2, coming in second was the Billabong A team, Todd Givens, Nok Givens, Sasicha Duangkham and Sandy Chapo with a score of 61, but the ring in team of Auke Engekles, Bob StAubin, Andrew and Glenn Smith with a score of 60.8 took the prize and rang the bell. A special thanks to the Management and staff of Parachat for making the whole day go smoothly from go to whoa.
