Not so hot at Phoenix

Phoenix with no rain but no carts off the cart paths which makes for a slower round as not too many of us can hit the ball straight towards the paths so not having to walk too far for your next shot. The course is being made ready for the European Thailand Ladies tournament so the rough is growing at a fast rate and making it tough to play from, however that wasn’t the problem it was finding the ball when you in there. It was a day without rain and not too hot. With only three groups playing we got away to a bit later start than usual but it was a casual day out with a few moose ciders to help along the way. We had a count back between George Barrie and Todd Gibbons both scoring 34 points, Todd managed to get the better score on the back nine to take 2nd spot relegating George to 3rd, Taking the top spot was the (guvnor) Sandy Chapo with 38 points. There were no twos recorded today.
