No rain at Green valley

Green Valley for the last time this month as the course is closed from the 25th to the 1st of May so next week we will be playing Phoenix on the Wednesday for the monthly Haven Consultants medal. The course today was in great condition and the greens were something else again almost perfect to putt on, the bunkers have been renovated and are as good as you will get anywhere. Now before we get down to the scoring I would like to remind everyone that ANZAC day on this coming Monday the 25th we at the Billabong will be having the dawn service at approximately 5.45 am all are welcome to attend. The annual Poppy golf day is this Friday the 22nd at Pattana presentation will be at the Billabong front bar about 5 pm followed by food and live music after once again all welcome. Now back to Green Valley and the scores coming in 3rd place was Sel Wegner with 34 points, 2nd place went to Wayne Cotterell with 35 points and the winner by a country mile was Barry Tregurtha with a great 41 points, well done mate a fantastic round and a deserved win. There were no two’s recorded.
