Hot Hot and Hot

A very hot day ensued for the golfers today but no rain which was a blessing after the belting we have had around the lake in the last couple of weeks. Phoenix Lakes and Ocean with the Mountain loop not being open for another day or two, The course was in great condition and surprisingly with very few wet spots the course must drain well. Only a small field and the scoring went from terrible to excellent, there was a three way count back on 32 points with Thiery Petrement taking 3rd spot, 2nd place went to the ever consistant Graham Beaumont scoring 38 points but Kiwi Bill Marsden showed all and sundry what you can do with a Rogue driver apart from one drive he passed big hitting Graham on all the rest scoring 41 points to take the top spot and immediately rang the bell to celebrate. With such a small field it was decided not to pay 2s.
