Burapha A and B the favourites for some not for others, the challenge is really C and D but you need to be very long off the tee. There was a time when we played the Blue tees for A and B and the whites for C and D but those days are gone for we have grown older and a lot of us don’t hit the ball so good anymore. The course was in great condition with greens that as usual were holding nicely and lush fairways also. With just 4 groups playing today it was a pleasant round of golf with few hold ups but it was hot out there. The scoring was split half in half under 30 points and over 30, A count back was need for 4th and 3rd between Nipper Truscott and Thiery Petrement both on 33 points it got down to one point for Thiery to take 3rd spot and Nipper 4th, Gerard Lambert took 2nd with 34 points and Gary Ritchie playing to his 8 handicap scored a fine 36 points. There was only one two going to Sandy Chapo.
