Haven Consultants Medal

Haven Consultants medal day today at Green Valley, in near perfect conditions for golf a nice light breeze and clear skies greeted us on the first tee. The course is in marvelous condition with great greens to putt on and lush fairways to compliment them. We had just 5 groups of men and only 2 groups of ladies but everything went smoothly and the round just flowed along. In the ladies competition it was a hard fought battle with 2 of them on net 73 which had to be decided on a count back with the lovely Miss Nu taking 2nd place and Miss May taking the Haven Trophy.

In the men’s division it was down to the wire also with Mikael Andersson taking 3rd on a count back with a net 69, being beaten by Bob Newell with 2 over the card on the back nine off the stick to take 2nd spot also on 69 net, they were narrowly beaten by Peter Thomas with a net 68, good golf lads. There were three two’s coming from Peter Thomas, Bob Newell and our Haven Consultants sponsor Brian Chapman.
