Haven Consultants Day with Brian Chapman

It was the Haven Consultants day today at Green Valley and what a turn out for the CEO of the firm Brian Chapman. There were four groups of ladies playing for the trophy and shirt that the sponsor supplies. It is always a closely fought battle and today was no exception with very close scores. Taking 3rd spot was Phin Stewart with a net 72 off her 10 handicap, 2nd place went to Eng Cotterell with a net 70 off her 16 H/C but she was just pipped at the post by Saipin Woollett with 69 nett off her 21 handicap, there were 4 twos coming from Miss Poopay, Miss Julie, Miss Eng and Miss Phin.

In the men’s competition it is much the same everyone wants to get bragging rights to say they have won Brians trophy. The course was in great condition with absolutely no complaints from anybody, there was the usual stories about missed putt’s but that was down to the player not the green’s. Maurice Goyons took 5th spot with 72 nett on a count back, 4th place went to Thiery Petrement with 71 nett on a count back hin being beaten by Colin Burwood also 71, Taking 2nd spot was a new comer a friend of the sponsor Bong shooting 74 off his 4 handicap for a net 70, but the man of the moment was Jeff North shooting a gross 78 off his 10 handicap for the winning score of 68 nett. There were 7 two’s coming from Bong, Jeff North, Colin Burwood, Lloyd Shuttleworth, Don Urquhart, Charlie Fliorentino and Sel Wegner. A hearty congratulations to the winners who will play in the champion of champion’s match on the last Wednesday of next month.
