Captain Cripple strikes again

Phoenix Gold on a day where it was raining everywhere but on this golf course. No winter rules today play it as it lies and to be quite honest it wasn’t needed anyway, the course was in beautiful condition with no sight of mud on the ball and the fairways and greens were great to play off. Five groups playing with no holdups we were finished and on the way home before we ran into the storm. Sometimes when you start off with a birdy on the first hole it can only go downhill from there but today it wasn’t to be for Captain Cripple he started with a fluke for birdy on that hole and it didn’t get very much worse from there scoring 19 points on the front nine with 2 blobs, and the back nine got a little better scoring 21 points for 40 points total, now in that was three two’s overall to take top spot from Steve barker with 39 points Keith Bowles came second with 36 points. There were four two’s all told with Steve Barker getting the forth one. Please don’t forget the Poppy golf tournament coming up on the 22nd of April at Pattana this tournament is for the benefit of the Poppy Appeal and the Thai Veterans association all welcome.
