Burapha on a day when the place was not only packed out, with caddies doing up to 45 holes a day caddying thanks to the management and staff doing the marshaling it turned out to be only a 4 and ½ hour round of golf the only hiccup was on the 17th when we got there five groups were waiting to tee off no idea why. The course was in great condition in every part of the course you could imagine even the where the scribe hits the ball. We had a young man from Italy playing with us today who is a professional golfer playing with a set of borrowed clubs older than he was he still shot only 3 over the card, Paul Greenaway had his day on the sun slam dunking a shot from 140 yards out for an eagle and got the only other two of the day also. The day today belonged to our visitor from New Zealand Julie Battersby who shot 83 off the stick from a 17 handicap to score 42 points, the nearest to the that Slugger Bramley with 37 points John Locke took 3rd with 36 points and Bob Lindborg got the last spot with 35 points. We had 4 near pins today sponsored by Auke Engelkes to celebrate his wedding to his beautiful bride, they were won by Gerard Lambert, Glyn Davies, George Zadro and Paul Greenaway a big toast to a very happy marriage.
