Burapha today and it was in great condition, with fast greens and lush fairways just a pleasure. We haven’t played C and D loops for a long time and it really was a pleasant change. With only a couple of groups we got away a little early and were finished and on the highway heading back to the bar in less than 4 hours. The scoring was not that flash apart from Rick Culley hitting 38 points and taking line honours closely followed by Nial Stewart with 35 points and there was a count back for 3rd between Thiery Temine and Sandy Chapo with Sandy getting that place with a better back nine. Nial got the only two of the day. It was mentioned by Rick he would have scored another 4 or 5 points if he hadn’t had to physically carry Capt Bob up to the tee blocks on some of the holes especially on the back nine when his knee was really giving him some trouble but thank you both to Tim Knight and Rick for the helping hand.
