A small field today and with the rain the course endured overnight no carts were allowed off the cart paths, lift clean and place was the order of the day. The bunkers were something else again most were full of water and almost unplayable, the course was in great condition apart from that though. It started out a bit hot but a gentle breeze came up at the turn and it turned out to be a lovely day for golf. The scoring was very good with a count back for the minor placings between Luke Eddy and Glenn Smith both on 39 points, Luke took 3rd place and said it was the first placing he had with the Billabong in 6 years, Glenn took 2nd spot and the day went to Larry Deverdene with just one point margin 40 points to take the top spot, There was only one two coming from Nipper Truscott.
We say goodbye to Sandy’s family today as they are going back to Melbourne to work we hope you had a great time here with us.
