Just a small field today at Burapha, we played the A and B loops in perfect conditions with high cloud but no rain in sight although the course has had quite a lot over the last week. Winter rules applied today as no carts off the cart paths, and lift clean and place was used as well. The tee’s were well back on some holes IE the black/blue and whites were exactly the same. We had a couple of visitors from Ubon and one of the guys said this course is no good for me I can’t hit the ball hard enough to make the fairway, that will tell you how far back, Tony for an old bloke doesn’t hit a bad ball what am I saying we are all old blokes. Anyway the course was in magic condition the greens were relatively fast and the fairways were lush so the rain has done some good. There was a count back for the second place between Serge Straeten and Gerry Sweetnam with Gerry taking that place and Sandy Chapo had a day in the sun scoring 40 points to take the top place.
