Burapha

We had a few visitors from Australia today as we played A and B loops at the lovely Burapha course. No carts off the cart paths meant we played winter rules which really wasn’t needed on the front nine but was a must on the B loop as it was wet and sloppy, apart from that the course was in great condition. Our Aussie friends got off a flight from Brisbane at 6 am and were at the course ready to play at 8.30, and I might add one of them got the only two of the day. With 6 groups playing we got away a little early and had a good round with no hold ups at all. The scoring was quite good also with 36 points taking 4th place Micky Beresford being the recipient of that place, 3rd place went to Brad Jordison with 37 points him being beaten on a count back by Paul Greenaway also on 37 points but having a better back nine, 1st place was taken by Nial Stewart with a fine 38 points. The only two of the day came from Ian Moore.
