It was the J J Harney Rolex trophy day today at Burapha playing B and C loops which was a different combination than usual but still a good challenge. With just a small field playing which was a bit unfortunate because the trophy was a very fitting prize for the winner of the day. No rain but as hot as hell and you were wet with sweat even before teeing off, so a few drinks were consumed on the way round. The scoring was something else also, with two golfers on 37 points and not getting in the prizes. Taking third place was Cameron Broadbent with 38 points, second place went to the Trophy donor J J Harney with 39 points and the trophy was won by Colm Lawler his best round since arriving in Thailand scoring 41 points to take the clock back to Ireland with him.
