A Wet Green Valley

Green Valley as usual and the course was in great shape even though you could have had a swim in the bunkers yesterday as it hammered down with rain for a few hours, the course was wet in places but after an hour or so carts were allowed on the fairways. With just two groups of ladies and 4 groups of men we were away a little early on a deserted course and were in in just over three hours, I think the threatening rain must have got everyone going, although we got a shower it wasn’t much just a sprinkle. In the ladies competition Miss Prae took the top spot with a handicap equaling 36 points with Miss Sa taking 2nd with 34 points. In the men’s competition Sel Wegner just got beaten on a count back by Peter LeNoury both scoring 35 points which wasn’t good enough to take Wayne Cotterell off the pedestal for the top prize he scored 38 points. There were two 2s coming from Peter LeNoury and Fergus Brennan.
