A very wet Phoenix

Phoenix on an over cast day, thinking we might get lucky we teed off on time and got around to the 8th green when we saw the rain coming in th82e distance, we did think we would be able to play the 9th and then shelter alas not so it hammered down as we were teeing off so it was head for the drinks stop in a hurry, for about 40 minutes then we were out again and got nothing more.Even though they have had a lot of rain on the course it is in great condition and really there were not too many times you needed relief from wet ground on the fairway. We started out as 5 groups but that turned into 4 as not having carts on the course stopped some from playing. There was a count back for the minor placing between Greg Ritchie, Bill Marsden and Graham Beaumont, all on 34 points with Greg Taking 4th spot, Bill 3rd and Graham 2nd, we had a runnaway winner with the lovely Sasicha scoring 40 points to take the top spot. There were two 2s recorded coming from George Way and Gerard Lambert.

Graham, Greg, Sasicha and Bill.
