A very Hot day out

The experts say we are in for a very hot summer well it was hot at Phoenix today even though it’s not summer yet with very little breeze and no cloud it gave everyone a hint of what’s to come. The course was in great condition and was packed to the rafters with golfers from all over the world. My apologies to the golfers that couldn’t get a game with us today as our booking was for 6 groups which turned into 8 and could have gone to ten, the starter accommodated the 8 groups but couldn’t fit any more on. Strangely enough today there were no two’s, we played the Lakes and Ocean loops and the par three’s on the two sides are not that difficult. There was a 3 way count back for 4th 5th and 6th place’s with Mark Brosnan taking 6th spot, John Locke taking 5th and Noddy Moyle took 4th regardless of him taking a blob on the 10 and the 18th and still score 21 points on the back nine, Another count back for 2nd and 3rd with Jerry Grocott being nudged into 3rd spot with 39 points and Andrew Woodall taking 2nd with the same score Brad O’Keefe had his day in the sun scoring a fine 40 points.

We Are Back on Line again.

Phoenix Gold today, the course was in great condition as usual and quite busy with a steady flow of golfers all around the course. With four groups playing it was quite a fast round with no holdups at
