Seven groups lined to play Burapha A and B loops, the place was packed on all 4 nines, but the marshal managed to keep everything moving nicely. The course itself was in great condition just a couple of greens were a little off with patch’s on them but it wasn’t the end of the world. The new rules are something of an enigma with a lot of golfers interpreting them differently but I guess it will sort itself out eventually in the meantime we will all just have to be patient and discuss any problems with the changes sensibly between the players. The scoring today was very good with a count back for the minor placing between Brett Gale who took 4th spot with 37 points 18 points on the back nine, Paul Greenaway took 3rd also with 37 points with 19 on the back but the last three holes were not as kind to him as his playing Bob Pearce took 2nd with 37 also but beat Paul on the back 3holes. The top spot went to Dougie Crowe with 39 points off his 9 handicap. There were 3 twos coming from Sandy Chapo, Miss Phin and Rick Culley. The policy at the Billabong in the minimum tip for the caddy is 300 baht.
