A Day in the sun for some

Phoenix Gold today with six teams participating and the scoring was unbelievable if you played to your handicap today you got fresh air for your trouble, that’s right 36 points didn’t cut the mustard. It might well be said it could be down to the course which was in great condition there was not one part of the course you could criticize. It can be said that everyone has their day in the sun and we had two of those playing with us today one playing off a 12 and the other 7, but we will start with 4th place being taken by Keith Bowles with 37 points, Mr Consistancey Stuart Day took 3rd place with a fine 38 points, now we get down to the real golfers Rob Kelly playing off his 7 handicap took 2nd place with 40 points that’s 75 off the stick a great round indeed but there was one other who played his little socks off shooting 76 for 44 points off his 12 handicap Glyn Davies was the recipient of a very deserving 1st place well done mate. There was only one two coming from Jason Higgens.
