A close call at Phoenix

Phoenix Ocean and Mountain were the course’s for the monthly scramble and what great condition they were in, with 12 teams competing the scoring was intense, with the odd birdie missed here and there it made for a day of not so low score’s. I don’t think there has been such a close contest in all the years of the that the scramble has been running. It was great to see the Courtyard Cavalier’s returning to the winner’s circle Geoff Couch, Jeff North, Chris Brendle and Phil McCafferty with a score of 61.5, taking 3rd place, Arch Armstrong, Gary Ritchie, Paul Hack and Bill Colliss took 2nd with 61.4 and the Billabong team of Sandy Chapo, Bob Scott, Sasicha Duangkham and May Suriya coming in 1st with 61.3, as previously stated a close call indeed.
